About Me
I’m Allie, a Latina writer, journalist, and creative content strategist who loves to tell a story, whether it’s for a magazine, brand, or a mission-driven organization.
I’ve held roles or written for brands including Delish, Apartment Therapy, Nike, Insider, Rapid Growth Media, and Kitchn. I also work with mission-driven organizations on content strategy, communications, and social media. (Check out my portfolio for more on that).
I love telling stories through the lens of food, identity, equity, and movement. My work has taken me from New York City dumpsters, where I investigated the city’s food waste, to cultivating agave in Jalisco, and moderating a panel at SXSW 2025 on the intersection of the food, fashion, and beauty industries.
I have a M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University, a B.S. in Information Science (UX) from the University of Michigan, a certificate in Creative Strategy from Miami Ad School, and a NASM CPT certification in progress.
When I’m not working, I’m usually brainstorming my next project–typically while running, eating, or exploring something new.
